Haul With Us

Owner-operators and independent haulers — join the carrier network that actually pays on time and keeps your truck loaded.

You bought the truck. You got licensed, insured, and inspected. You can haul anything, anywhere. The hard part was never the driving — it's finding consistent, well-paying loads without chasing brokers who pay net-60 and ghost your calls.

We're building a carrier network across BC. We need reliable haulers who take the work seriously. In return, we handle everything you don't want to deal with — finding customers, quoting jobs, invoicing, and collections. You haul. We handle the rest.

What you get

Same-day pay

After a 3-month probationary period, you get paid the same day the load is delivered. Not net-30. Not net-60. Same day. During the probationary period, payment is weekly — still faster than most brokers.

Steady loads, no hunting

We have a growing pipeline of contractors ordering aggregate across BC. Set your availability and preferred zones — we dispatch loads that match. No cold calls, no scrambling between jobs.

Transparent rates

You see the rate before you accept the load. Per-load pricing, clearly communicated, no surprises after the fact. Fuel surcharge adjustments are passed through — when diesel goes up, your rate goes up.

No forced dispatch

You're running your own business. Pick your days, your hours, your zones. We offer loads — you decide which ones to take. No penalties for saying no, no minimum load requirements.

Zero admin burden

We handle customers, quotes, invoicing, payment collection, and disputes. You don't chase anyone for money. You don't field calls from contractors at 6 AM asking where their gravel is. That's our job.

No exclusive contract

Run other work alongside us. We don't lock you in — we earn your loads by being worth hauling for. You can leave anytime with 30 days notice.

Volume bonuses

The more loads you run per month, the better your per-load rate. Haulers who commit to consistent volume get rewarded for it — not with promises, with money.

Referral bonuses

Know a hauler who'd be a good fit? If they join the network and complete their probationary period, you get a referral bonus. Good people know good people.

Less deadheading

We route loads to minimise empty kilometres. Where possible, we pair outbound and return hauls so you're earning on both legs. Empty trucks don't pay for diesel.

Early network priority

We're expanding across BC and into Alberta and the Pacific Northwest. Haulers who join now get first pick of new routes and zones as we add them.

The short version

You haul. We find the loads, handle the customers, and pay you fast. Steady work, clear rates, and no 60-day invoices.

What we need from you

We're selective because our customers depend on us, and we depend on you. Every requirement exists because it protects you, us, and the contractors waiting on site.

1

Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence

With a clean driver's abstract. Recent driving infractions or suspensions are disqualifying.

2

WorkSafe BC coverage

Active personal optional protection (POP) or employer coverage. Non-negotiable — no coverage, no loads.

3

Commercial general liability insurance — $2M minimum

Must name Instant Aggregates as additionally insured. Your broker can set this up in a day.

4

Cargo insurance

Covers the material on your truck. If a load is damaged or lost in transit, this protects both of us.

5

Current CVIP inspection

Your vehicle must have a valid Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program decal. No expired inspections.

6

National Safety Code compliance

Valid Safety Fitness Certificate and NSC number. If you're operating commercially in BC, you should already have this.

7

Registered business

Sole proprietorship or incorporated — either works. You need a GST number and the ability to invoice.

8

Cargo securement equipment

Tarps, tie-downs, and any load-specific securement required by BC regulations. You're responsible for safe transport.

9

Suitable equipment

Tandem, tri-axle, or end dump capable of hauling aggregate loads. Belly dumps, side dumps, and transfer trailers also welcome. Your truck needs to match the work.

How joining works

1. Apply

Call us or fill out the form below. We'll ask about your equipment, your preferred zones, and your availability. Takes about 10 minutes.

2. Submit your documents

Licence, insurance certificates, CVIP, WorkSafe BC, NSC number, and business registration. We verify everything — this protects the network and keeps load quality high for everyone.

3. Probationary period — 3 months

You start hauling loads with weekly pay. We learn how you work, you learn how we dispatch. This is a trial in both directions — if we're not the right fit, either side can walk away.

4. Full network status

After 3 months, you move to same-day pay, get access to volume bonuses, and become eligible for priority routing on new zones as we expand.

Common questions

What types of trucks do you need?
Tandem axle dump trucks, tri-axle dumps, end dumps, belly dumps, side dumps, and transfer trailers. If you can haul bulk aggregate, we likely have loads for you. Single-axle trucks are generally too small for our typical order sizes.
How many loads per week can I expect?
Depends on your zone, availability, and the season. Haulers running 5 days a week in the Lower Mainland typically see multiple loads per day during peak season (April–October). Winter is slower but we work to smooth that with diverse project types. We won't promise numbers we can't back up — load volume grows as our customer base grows.
Can I haul for other companies at the same time?
Yes. There's no exclusivity clause. Many of our haulers run their own customers alongside our dispatch. We ask only that you honour any loads you've accepted — if you commit to a delivery window, the contractor is counting on it.
What happens during the 3-month probation?
You haul loads at the same rates, paid weekly instead of same-day. We're evaluating reliability, communication, and professionalism — and you're evaluating whether our dispatch, loads, and rates work for your business. Either side can end the arrangement during this period with no penalty.
Do you operate outside BC?
We're expanding into Alberta and the Pacific Northwest. If you're based near the BC border and interested in cross-border hauls, we want to hear from you. Early haulers in new markets get priority routing.
I have multiple trucks. Can I join as a fleet?
Yes. Small fleets (2–10 trucks) are welcome. Each driver needs to meet the same requirements, but we handle onboarding at the fleet level. More trucks means more consistent capacity — we'll work with you on volume rates.
