Crusher dust (also called screenings or quarry fines) is the fine material screened out during aggregate crushing — particles from dust up to about 5 mm. It compacts extremely well and is the standard material for filling paver joints, levelling under pavers and flagstone, and as a fine surface layer on paths. It also works as an economical topping on compacted crusher run driveways.
