Road base (dense-graded base, or DGB) is a precisely graded blend of crushed aggregate and fines engineered to compact to high density under roller or plate compaction. It meets BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) specifications for sub-base construction. The standard for roads, parking lots, and structural pads where load-bearing capacity matters.
